Which Games Use 15mm Square Bases?
The 15mm square is the standard single-figure base for small-scale gaming, where a 20mm or 25mm base would leave your models spaced too far apart to look like a formed unit:
- 15mm-scale historical wargaming – single-figure basing where your rules call for individual models rather than multi-figure elements.
- 15mm fantasy and sci-fi ranges – small-scale armies where a 25mm base would dominate the model.
- Skirmish and small-scale games played with 10mm to 15mm figures.
- Tokens, objective markers and unit fillers where a compact square footprint is wanted.
Base sizes vary between rule systems and scales, so check your rulebook before rebasing an army.
Solid, Low-Profile Construction
Made from high-quality 3D printed PLA with a solid, sturdy design that provides excellent rigidity while maintaining a slim tabletop profile. At just 3mm high, the base stays proportionate to a small-scale figure rather than lifting it off the table.
Textured Tops for Easier Basing
Every base is printed with a textured top surface, giving glue, sand, flock and texture paste something to key into. Basing materials grip far more readily than they do on a smooth face — which matters most on a base this small, where there is little room for error.
Glue-Free Magnet Holes
Every base has one 3mm x 2mm magnet hole printed directly into it, sized to hold a magnet on friction alone. No glue required — magnets snap in by hand, or tap home with a light touch from a plastic mallet. Both versions have the hole; the only difference is whether the magnets come in the box.

Available in 20-pack and 50-pack options. Small-scale armies run to high model counts, so the 50-pack is usually the one you want.
