Which Games Use 50x100mm Bases?
This is the chariot base:
- Warhammer: The Old World and Warhammer Fantasy Battle – the standard footprint for chariots across factions, including Tomb King, High Elf and Empire chariots.
- Kings of War and other rank-and-file systems – wherever a long, narrow footprint is needed for a drawn model.
The shape matters here. A chariot needs a base that is long and narrow rather than large and square, so the model sits correctly and the unit's frontage stays right. If you reach for a big square instead, the footprint will be wrong.
Built for the Weight
Made from high-quality 3D printed PLA with a solid, sturdy design. At 4mm high, the extra section is what keeps a base this long flat and stable under a heavy multi-part model.
Textured Tops for Easier Basing
Every base is printed with a textured top surface, giving glue, sand, flock and texture paste something to key into — worth a great deal on a footprint this size, where scenic groundwork often does as much work as the model.
Glue-Free Magnet Holes
Every base has two 5mm x 2mm magnet holes printed directly into it, spaced along its length so a long model is held flat rather than pivoting on a single point. No glue required — magnets snap in by hand, or tap home with a light touch from a plastic mallet.
