Description
Stonebark speaks rarely and slowly, and people who mistake this for simplicity tend to learn otherwise within a season. He has been tending the same stretch of old forest for longer than the nearest village has existed, and he regards its inhabitants with the patient affection of someone watching a very fast animal do its best. He is gentle. He is not soft.
Stonebark works as a player character, the guardian a party must convince before they are allowed further in, or the quiet giant who turns up when the woods are burning. His larger frame gives him real presence next to standard humanoid sculpts. The 32mm version drops straight into standard tabletop play. The 75mm version is built for display, where bark texture, moss, and heavy cloth reward drybrushing and texture work.
