Why a True 1 Inch?
A 25mm square is close to an inch, but it isn't one. At 25.4mm, a true 1" base fills a standard grid square edge to edge — so your miniature occupies the space the rules say it does, with no drift building up across a row of models.

Which Games Use 1 Inch Square Bases?
- Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder – the standard grid square. A Medium creature occupies exactly one.
- Dungeon tile and terrain systems – sits flush against tile edges and walls without overhanging.
- Board games and skirmish games played on a one-inch grid.

Flat Edge, Not Beveled
Unlike our beveled wargaming bases, the 1" square has a straight, flat edge. On a grid or against dungeon tiles that matters — the base meets its neighbours and the tile walls squarely, rather than tapering away and leaving a visible gap at the join.
Solid, Low-Profile Construction
Made from high-quality 3D printed PLA with a solid, sturdy design that provides excellent rigidity while keeping a slim tabletop profile. At just 3mm high, it keeps your miniature close to the map without lifting it above the surrounding tiles.
Textured Tops for Easier Basing
Every base is printed with a textured top surface, giving glue, sand, flock and texture paste something to key into. Basing materials grip far more readily than they do on a smooth face, so your groundwork goes on faster and stays put.
Glue-Free Magnet Holes
Every base has one 3mm x 2mm magnet hole printed directly into it, sized to hold a magnet on friction alone. No glue required — magnets snap in by hand, or tap home with a light touch from a plastic mallet. Both versions have the hole; the only difference is whether the magnets come in the box.
