Heavy timber posts driven into the frozen ground, planked walkways running above the mud between longhouses. These modular platforms build the raised decks and stilted causeways of a Norse settlement — straight runs, corners and inline sections in tall or short column heights, so you can terrace a village up a hillside or carry it out over the water.
