Description
The boulder is already going. That is the thing to understand about this one: the decision was made several seconds ago, somewhere a long way from anything resembling thought, and what is left is a rock the size of a cart travelling downrange at a party that had been having a reasonable morning. Hill giants do not aim so much as commit.
At 90mm true scale this is a centerpiece rather than another figure in the tray. Next to your 32mm adventurers the height does the storytelling before anyone rolls anything. Where our other hill giant carries its boulder braced at chest height, this one is mid-throw, one arm cocked back and the whole mass rotating through the shoulder, which gives it a far more open and dynamic silhouette. The two work well together on a shelf and even better on a table, where one closes to melee and the other stays back and lobs.
Assembly
Because of its size, this model ships as a ten-piece kit in a single fixed pose. The joints are unkeyed, so dry-fit the whole model before any glue goes on. Pinning the throwing arm is worth the few extra minutes, since a raised arm carrying a boulder puts real leverage through that joint. A short length of brass rod or paperclip in a pin vise is plenty.
The upside of a multi-part kit at this scale is real: you can prime and paint the pieces separately and reach areas that would be completely hidden once assembled. On a model this large that's the difference between a good paint job and a great one.
