Give your biggest models a strong, clean foundation with Terrain Genesis 4" Square Bases. A true four-inch square with a flat, straight edge, sized to cover sixteen grid squares exactly, and ideal for gargantuan creatures, vehicles, terrain pieces, and 3D printed models.
Sized for Sixteen Grid Squares
A 4" base covers a 4x4 block on a standard one-inch grid. In Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder that is the space a Gargantuan creature occupies — ancient dragons, krakens, purple worms and similar.
Built Thicker for Stability
Made from high-quality 3D printed PLA with a solid, sturdy design. This size is printed at 5mm thick, stepped up from the 3mm and 4mm profiles we use on smaller squares, so it holds flat across the span under a heavy model.
Textured Tops for Easier Basing
Every base is printed with a textured top surface, giving glue, sand, flock and texture paste something to key into. On a footprint this large the base is a diorama in its own right.
Glue-Free Magnet Holes
Every base has two 5mm x 2mm magnet holes printed directly into it, sized to hold magnets on friction alone. No glue required — magnets snap in by hand, or tap home with a light touch from a plastic mallet. On a centrepiece model, a secure magnetised base is cheap insurance.
